KEEPING KIDS COOL
• Cool It! NYC will provide cooling relief for NYC’s most heat burdened neighborhoods
• City will reopen 950 existing cooling elements, add 250 new sites Sprinklers Spray showers Misting stations
• During heat advisories, FDNY and DEP will proactively install up to 320 additional spray caps to hydrants citywide

• City has registered 37,200 for free AC units 23,200 seniors in private homes

BEACHES NYC
• Beaches will reopen for swimming on July 1st
• New York State Beach Guidance Beach-goers should visit only with members of their immediate household
• Maintain 6 feet of distance of others while swimming and on beaches and boardwalks
• Keep beach blankets and chairs at least 10 feet apart from others
• Wear a mask when unable to maintain social distance
• Refrain from group activities

• Housing Court
o is closed for most non-essential matters and that all pending proceedings are being administratively adjourned
o New York City Housing Court are now only open for essential cases permitted by the court, such as landlord lockouts, serious housing code violations, and requests for emergency repairs orders. Other Housing Court cases are on hold.
 Know that since March 16, 2020, all eviction proceedings in New York City are suspended indefinitely. For more information, please visit the NYC Department of Investigation (DOI).
 Anyone with knowledge of City marshals attempting to execute on warrants of eviction can report this activity by calling DOI’s Bureau of City Marshals at 212-825-5953.
