As of June 4th, the NYPD Medical Division will be ending its administration of the Covid-19 vaccine at 127 Pennsylvania Avenue. However, vaccines will still be available through NYC Health and Hospitals. NYC Health and Hospitals will be setting up a mobile van in front of the building on Liberty Avenue from June 7th- June 13th. Please see below for information related to this operation:

- Vaccinations are walk-ins only as availability permits
- Eligibility
- All community members who resides in the US is eligible for the vaccine
- Community members will need to show proof of age but will not need to show any proof of residency in the US or New York State.
- For the J+J vaccine, people will need to show something with their birthdate showing they are 18 or older. There is a lot of flexibility on proof of age documents, examples include but are not limited to:
- Driver’s license or non-driver ID
- IDNYC
- State or government-issued birth certificate
- Consulate ID
- Current U.S. passport or valid foreign passport
- Permanent resident card
- Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship
- Life insurance policy with birthdate
- Marriage certificate with birthdate
- Test & Trace may discuss additional focus populations, such as older NYers
- Language access services available- registration materials available in multiple languages and telephonic interpretation inside van only. Team cannot guarantee in-person interpretation. If you are anticipating any specific language needs please let us know.
- Patient Experience
- Patient registers on site as a walk-in, greeted by Data Admin; Check in & screen via DOITT platform and NYS Attestation Form are confirmed and completed here.
- Patient is escorted onto the bus and screened again inside vehicle before inoculation
- Patient receives vaccine
- Patient is observed (sits inside bus) for 15 minutes (or outside if there is limited space) to be monitored for adverse reaction
- After observation period patient is released to data admin who perform their check out process (schedule 2nd dose if necessary) and provides them with vaccination card
- Vaccination Capacity
- Vaccinations take place inside van only
- 2 people can get vaccinated every 15 minutes
